1973 fj40 runs good, 2f gasoline engine has after market fuel injection that seems to have a short, sometimes it will cut out briefly, driving it around neighborhood normally with no problems. Engine does pull very strong.
The white top on it for the picture is for a later model so the front metal piece needs to be swapped for an early piece, which I have. Just remove rivets and replace. Normally the top is not used so it's only on the FJ for pictures, it is not bolted down with gaskets.
I have a complete 3b 3.4L diesel with H55F 5 speed transmission and vacuum shifted transfer case from a wrecked 1988 BJ73. It also has the power steering pump, alternator and starter. The engine is on a stand and can be started. Diesel engine starts easily and runs very good.
