Description of 1980 Toyota Supra Base Hatchback 2-Door

**This is a 1992 Toyota Aristo, Ebay's system forces me to list as a 1980 due to the VIN being shorter on importer vehicles. **
You are bidding on my 1992 Toyota Aristo that was imported from Japan within the last 6-8 months. This car is truly the closest thing you will get to a factory 4 door MKIV Supra Twin Turbo. The Aristo has the exact same Twin Turbo Engine 2JZGTE, as well as the same transmission, that has given the supra twin turbo a cult like following and made their value skyrocket. I think it goes without saying how responsive these engines are to even the most basic performance upgrades (air intake, exhaust, downpipe, etc) are common mods to get these cars in the 10's in the 1/4 mile without breaking a sweat or the bank. Throw a inexpensive and easy to get single turbo setup and a few other supporting mods on the car and go blow the doors off heavily modded forced induction corvettes, mustangs, etc...
The Aristo you are bidding on is currently 100% stock and is basically a blank canvas for you to go crazy with, or just enjoy how it is! The car runs, and drives GREAT, it has a super smooth luxurious ride comparable to a S class Mercedes. The car has an insane amount of options including many that were never offered on USDM model. Features such as a separate air purification system with varying degrees or air purifier levels to choose from, Side mirrorvibrating glass feature to de-ice the mirror surfaces, and aold school parking assist system that consists of little metal "antenna" type rods on the front and rear bumpers than are remotely controlled from the console to raise and lower so you can see the edges of the vehicle when trying to squeeze into tight parking spots. The car does have the full host of typical features as well such as power tilt / telescopic steering wheel with auto retract, power adjustable mirrors with power fold option, power seats, key-lessentry, power steering, power brakes, a/c, cruise, am/fm cd, power windows, power locks, etc etc....
The Aristo is a reliable vehicle that I would have no problem taking on a cross country road trip. The exterior of the aristo is in average shape for what is to be expected for a car with 86,000 miles and has freshly been imported to the states, I have spent a good amount of time polishing the paint back to like new condition, but there are some typical door ding type dents that remain and could be PDR'ed if you so desire. The interior is in great shape, all of the trim pieces etc are intact and look good, the OEM floor mats are also in goood shape and present, I did replace the steering wheel with one out of a 98 aristo but the original and currently installed steering wheels will be included with the sale. The only other mods/upgrades I have do include I have replaced all 4 of the hood and trunk strut supports, and tinted the windows (driving a right hand Drive vehicle attracts A TON of Attention so the tint was mandatory).
The only reason I am even considering selling this super rare vehicle, is because I also purchased a second RHD JDM imported vehicle at the same time and that car (along with another vehicle project) is taking up all of my time. I would rather get this car into the hands of someone that will appreciate it for what it is and be able to dedicate the time and energy into making it what it can be!
Please do not hesitate with any questions, or if there are any specific photos you would like to see that I may of missed. Also I would be happy to show the car in person to anyone that is in the Kansas City area or would like to come see the car before the auction ends.
