Description of 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ 45 Pick up

EXTREMELY RARE
The Very Last TOYOTA LandCruiser BJ45 Pick up
that came off the Japanese Factory.
No 951750 and last
ALL ORIGINAL - NON RESTORED
NO RESERVE
I Highly encourage you to read the full description of this car as it might ended up in your garage.
This is my personal car that I have owned for quite a long time before it landed in the US. So I know those cars very well as I have sold few of those.
This is the very last one that was ever built off the factory
in Japan and documented.
The VIN is not recognized by Ebay. Correct VIN is JT1POBJ4500951750
The VIN I have entered is bogus and does not belong to this car. Please refer the the VIN just above or see the photos.
Toyota Japan has been making the LandCruiser since 1951 starting with the FJ and the BJ.
Please check on Wikipedia for a detailed explanation : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Land_Cruiser
The BJ series being the oldest version of this Toyota while the FJ series were the only ones that was imported in the US.
This type of truck was never imported into the US.
The Japanese production stopped on October 1984. It continued in Brazil but was slightly different from the original cars.
My best description:
This car has never been restored and features all the originality from day 1.
What you are looking, is a Toyota Landcruiser POBJ45 "P" model. The "P" stand for "Plateau" which is pick up in French.
This car was produced at the Factory in Toyota City Japan and imported brand new to the French Importer, in Paris France, named S.I.D.A.T on October 1984.
It was purchased by a Chateau in the Northern part of France to be used on the property the carry wine crates from the field to the Chateau.
I acquired the car shortly after and kept her in my collection until now.
Model:
The very precise model is the POBJ45 also called the "Vigneron" which translate for "Winegrower". The low profile bed was prefect for driving between the vineyards and was ideal to load the crates full of grapes to the back of the car.
The low profile tires are true and correct to that time and was done to lower even more the height of the car.
The aluminum bed is factory and was ordered that way by the Chateau.
Sadly, the car was decommissioned because the aluminum did not have a proper food grading and her years roaming the fields were over.
Toyota has made a short wheel base pickup truck (192.90 Inch or 4.90 meters) and a long wheel base model (196.26 Inch or 4.985 Meters).
See last photo.
All of the HJ pick up you see out there, on Ebay or elsewhere, are short wheel base.
This is the long wheel base and the rarest model produced.
As of today, there is NONE for sale anywhere ... except this one.
Rarest Toyota Landcruiser:
As mentioned, Toyota made those car in their factory until October 1984.
This one was imported on October 1984 by the French Importer S.I.D.A.T.
Then it was purchased by MARC Guy on October 10th 1984 from a dealer in Northern France called
Garage de La Levriere
ZI de la Porte Rouge
27150 ETREPAGNY - FRANCE
The dealership owner was Gilles LETAILLEUR.
The car was first registered on October 18th 1984 under a temporary plate bearing the number 1838 WWD 76.
The Certificate of Conformity makes the car being conformed on October 09th 1984, which makes this Toyota Landcruiser POBJ45 the last BJ45 that ever came out of the Japanese factory.
Few days later, the entire production shut down, officially ending on October 1984, and with it, an entire era of great cars.
Options:
Beside having the aluminum bed, the car has factory power steering, factory disc brakes, removable hard top, removable rack.
The motor is the 3B, 3.4L, 4 cylinders in line from Toyota, paired to a 4 speed manual transmission.
The aluminum rims are FACTORY Toyota rims, stamped Toyota. The matching spare tire is included.
The low profile tires are true and correct to this model since it needed to be as low as possible.
There is also the factory tools and the crank used to lower the spare tire from under the bed.
The hard top is fully removable and made of galvanized metal.
This is a point I feel the need to emphasize.
Not only this car is very rare and unique, there is also valuable documents coming with the vehicle and there are ALL original to the car .... NOT copies .... NOT prints.
My Documentation:
Original purchase invoice
Original Master Catalogue
Original Certificate of Conformity
Original MSO or Temporary Permit
Original Owner's Manual
Original Repair Manual
Original Accessories Catalogue
My Statement:
Now you know what this car stands for. It's a collector car and will keep getting value from year to year.
I had a immense joy and a privilege to own such a rare car.
I am selling her with NO RESERVE .... but ..... even if the car is not worth 10 Millions, even if the car is not worth 10 Dollars, this car has a tremendous emotional value.
And that's priceless.
I know for the fact that, once I'll separate from this beauty, I will not get an other one nor I will have a chance to drive her around.
Yes there is NO RESERVE ... as long as your final bid has overcome my emotions.
I have a free and clear Title under my personal name.
Several of my cars were sold here on Ebay and my feedback reflects the quality of each and every vehicle I have owned. All my vehicle went through the tedious inspections such as Customs, Agricultural, EPA, DOT, Highway Patrol and the DMV.
I can help you with shipping and can keep the car, here, at home, in my garage, for as long as you need, FREE of charges and after it's being paid. See conditions of payment in my listing.
The car is also for sale locally and I can / could terminate the listing without notice.
Happy Bidding
