Description of 1980 Toyota Soarer GTTL

Hello,
Up for sale is my 1991 Toyota Soarer.
VIN# JZZ30-005120
Mileage: 63500km or 39648mi
Clean Illinois title with the correct information listed. Imported with all correct documentation and 100% legal Federal and State.
1JZ-GTE Inline 6 Twin-Turbo engine mated to A340E automatic transmission. Even though vehicle is auto it does a surprisingly good job at selecting gears.
  • Engine is rated at 279hp / 268lb-ft
  • The 1JZ-GTE engine is a smaller 2.5 liter cousin to the 2JZ-GTE engine, built to similar strength and can withstand upwards of 700HP on factory bottom end.
  • The A340E transmission is Toyota's 4 speed automatic transmission with O/D, notably also featured in the MK4 Supra Twin-Turbo Automatic.
PWR mode switchable at the center console stiffens up suspension as this vehicle is equipped with Toyota TEMS system.
  • TEMS - (Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension) was a shock absorber that was electronically controlled (Continuous Damping Control) based on multiple factors, and was built and exclusively used by Toyota for selected products during the 1980s and 1990s (first introduced on the Toyota Soarer in 1983)

Vehicle starts and drives smoothly, builds boost and maintains pressure throughout the rpm band. Digital gauge cluster free from bleeds on the lcd.
Original 1 piece WEDS Farmas wheels in a staggered setup with new Yokohama S Drive tires.
Additional to power options listed it has power folding mirrors.
Air purifier was also an option and this vehicle has it.
Now being that the vehicle is 1991 the paintwork is in OK. There is some scratches and visible repair on the fenders. No major dents and most importantly no rust is present.
As this is a right hand drive vehicle it takes a bit to get used to driving it on US roads. I can happily take you for a test drive unless you have driven a RHD vehicle before.
If this is your first RHD vehicle this is a great way to start before you move up to manual and more powerful options.
If you have any questions about the vehicle feel free to ask. Vehicle was posted before but a sale fell through as buyer did not have enough funds.
I can deliver the vehicle within 150 miles of 60131 zip code.
