Hello everyone, up for sale is my stunning 1986 Toyota Cresta GT Twin Turbo. I legally imported the car from Japan a few months ago. This car is a clean, unmodified, stock example, and has been with only 2 owners it's entire life in Japan. With only 123k verified kilometers (75k miles), the car has only been lightly driven over its life. The car was always garage-kept, and shows no signs of rust. It is in truly remarkable condition for its age, although it does have some wear here and there on the body, with a couple minor dings and scratches (look at pics for the details). Overall though, it is in remarkable shape, and the paint still shines like new.

This car was VERY advanced for its age. This car was made during Japan's bubble economy, and they put all their technical wizadry into this car. It is literally fully loaded- with many options not being seen in American cars for quite a while after 1986. This includes:

-Tilt Wheel

-Automatic Headlights

-Retractable Side mirrors

-Anti-theft alarm system

-Digital gauge cluster (with 3D effect)

-Progressive Power Steering

-Adjustable suspension settings (normal or sport)

-Engine settings (Economy, Power, or Manual)

-Automatic swing vents

-Traction Control

-Power Steering

-AM/FM/Cassette Stereo with Technics speakers

-Automatic 4-Speed Transmission w/overdrive

-Air Conditioning

-Power Windows

-Power Door Locks

-Linen seat covers in the rear (original)

-Air purification system

Interior rise, the car still looks and smells great. The dash has no cracks, but there is a spot that has some slight waviness. Velour seats are in great shape, looking like new, aside from a couple wear spots on the bottom of the front seats. The interior is completely original and takes you back in time to the mid-late 80s at the height of Japan's bubble economy. She's a very comfortable car, 4 adults can ride her in absolute serenity, but at the same time, if you want to tackle the corner with a bit more speed, she handles like a sports car, with a lightweight body and very direct steering. This is the best handling sedan I've driven aside from the E39 BMW.

The car is equipped with the bulletproof 2.0 liter Toyota 1G-GTE Twin Turbo Inline-6 engine. This is the same engine that was equipped on the Mark III Supra's and some Soarer's in Japan. She runs like a champ. Mechanically the car is perfect, and all electronics work. Air condition blows ice cold- and is still running on the original R12 unit. Honestly, this is the best R12 A/C I have ever experienced in a car.

Tires are almost brand new, and I just had the car serviced in which we performed an oil and filter change, changed a few hoses, and I also had the car aligned.

Included with this classic car is the original owner's manual and several service records and inspections- the car was meticulously maintained for its entire life in Japan. Note that I also have some parts coming in from Japan- including a clutch pedal (if the new owner wants to perform a manual swap), a new driver's side mirror (the current one is good, but has some fading paint on the top molding and scratches, so I have a new one coming in), along with a few other pieces that will be included with the sale.

This is a very rare car to be seen in the U.S, as it is was never offered for sale here in the states- you are guaranteed the only one to be driving this truly unique and awesome machine on the road. One drive in the classic Japanese sports sedan and you will fall in love, just like I did when I picked her up from the port.

If you have been looking for something different to stand out from the crowd- you've found your car. And it is reliable and comfortable enough to also be used as a daily driver, or road trip cruiser. Your call.

Thank you for looking at my ad, if interested please call or text me if I do not pick up. I will answer any questions you might have, and can send more pictures upon request. And yes, the car is legally imported here, with all the proper documents and paperwork needed to register the car in your name. I even paid extra to have my documents stamped by U.S Homeland Security (a requirement if you're going to register the car in California- can't get it done without that stamp!)
