Description of 1989 Toyota Supra

This is an extremely clean and well taken care of Supra, and it's reliable enough to drive daily. It was professionally appraised at $8,200 this past summer. If you know the MKIII market well, you know the number of truly clean cars is very limited. If you were at the Show and Shine at SIV 2017, you saw this car. I drove it from San Diego to Vegas and back in one day, which is about 600 miles round trip without any issues. My dad, who's 60, drove it daily for 12 years. He's the one who brought the paint to life and kept it that way. No matter what event I go to, people are always in disbelief as to how clean this is. I have the clean CA title in hand, and to my knowledge, it's only ever been hit lightly once in the back end. All we needed to do was have the bumper cover painted. The front seats have been reupholstered, I've installed a nappa leather E brake boot, and have a nappa leather shift boot to install, as well. For reference, nappa leather is an option on a new BMW 7 Series. We had a new OEM short block installed about 120K ago and had the head rebuilt at that time. I have a set of ARP head studs and Denso Iridium TT plugs still in the box that are included. I recently had a block test done to see if there was any sign of a blown head gasket, and it didn't show any indication of that (I've owned three MKIIIs, so I'm well aware of the signs). The second and third gear synchros are crunchy during fast shifts, but the rest of the drivetrain is completely smooth. We've replaced the drive shaft carrier bearing. I have two sets of coilovers for it; the "gixxer drew" Bilstein/Hyperco coilover setup (650/425 spring rates) is on the front, but the whole set is for the MKIV, so the rears on the car are Tein Type Flex. The car is very composed as is (I even had somebody ask what setup I have after he saw it drive at SIV), and both full sets of coilovers are included. There are Powerslot rotors all around that have stood up phenomenally well. The OE brake pads and fluid are fresh. The wheel and tire setup is maybe 9 months old and consists of Enkei RPF-1s and Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s (these are surprisingly grippy - much better than the Bridgestone RE760) in 18x8.5 and 18x10 with 245/40 and 265/35s. The lug nuts are Project Kics R40 neo chrome. The steering rack was recently replaced with a remanufactured unit and the alignment was done. The car passes CA smog with no problem and the OE down pipe and cat are included. There's a BIC recirculated divorced down pipe, Titan 3" cat and 3" cat-back with two Vibrant resonators and a Vibrant muffler on the car now. The current muffler is a single tip and I'll include a twin tip muffler of the same style. We've had multiple sets of wheels and exhaust setups on it through the years, which is why they're different in a couple pictures.
I absolutely love the car, but recently bought a new 4Runner and am offloading a couple of my project cars. I'd love to ask $7,000 and wait for the right buyer, but it's time to let it go quickly. I'm ready to accept a solid offer now, but please make it worth my time. If I don't respond, I'm not interested. This is not for cheap MKIII buyers. This is for true enthusiasts who will love and treat this car properly.
