Description of 1984 Toyota Supra P Type

The find of the decade! Here's probably your last chance to find a wellpreserved Southern California all original MKII Supra. These are basically extinct on the road and the ones for sale are in sad condition unfortunately. This beauty was surprisingly foundjust 14 miles east of where I live here in San Diego CA located in El Cajon where it spent it entire life. The old fellow bought this car at the first.... yes you heard that right, the first Toyota dealership in the entire USA. He bought it brand new at John A Rose Toyota located at 5910 Mission Gorge Rd San Diego CA 92120 which is now called Toyota San Diego. Mr Rose opened his dealership in 1957 onthe then remote parcel in Mission Valley. The Rose family sold dealership to Toyota San Diego in 2001.
The original owner began servicing this Supra in his home townat El CajonToyota in the year 2000 when it wasopened for business. El Cajon is about 10 miles east of Mission Valley. He bought the car new in September 1984. The production date is 5/23/84.
He kept it in his garage of course and was never a smoker. He gave me a huge box of parts that he collected over the years "Just in case" he said. All 1982-1985 Supra parts. Look in the picture you will see engine parts, interior parts, body parts, PCM,Distributor, Ignition lock assembly, Vapor canister, Alternator, Fog lights, washer res, door handles, AC condenser with cooling fan assembly, headlight motor, door lock solenoid, etc etc.
Lets just say he was a man that didn't want issues. He rarely drove it yet bought parts throughout the years just in case. Quite a story. He also gave me these that are in new condition: A Motor Trend Magazine Toyota Celica Supra sales brochure, a gorgeous black and white 8X10" original factory photograph, A flawless Spec sheet brochure, a very rare and expensive OEM factory Toyota 1984 Supra Electrical Wiring Diagram book which is 70 pages that each fold out like a map and is in perfect condition with no signs of use. Lastly he gave me the Chilton repair and tune up manual.
Since It sat for quite a while I myself had to do a few things.
Ihad the AC retrofitted to 134A with:
-New AC Compressor
-New AC Condenser
-New AC Accumulator/ Dryer
-New Radiator
-New Power Antenna
-New Fuel Filter
-New Hood Struts
-New thermostat
-New air filter
-New Bosch front wipers
-new rear Bosch wiper
-in packages 2 OEM Toyota front wipers that I didn't need but saw these rare brand new ones on ebay and had to get em (very expensive)
It should be noted all these things were professionally installed at respected shops.
-Had oil changed at 34,817 miles.
-Had the most strict smog/ emission CA testin USAcompleted on 4/18/18. And the numbers show its measurements amazing like a new car:
max:130, measured 21
max 105, measured 17
max .56, measured .01
max .42, measured .01
max 781, measured 242
max 662, measured 339
I bought from this original owner at the end of March 2018. It runs and drives like a new Lexus. It purrs in my garage so softly I actually keep thinking the motor died. I've never had so many appreciative people pull up next to me on freeway or stop light or parking lots with compliments and tons of thumbs up.
No Rust which is not a surprise since here in SoCal we never have those issues.
Everything works beautifully. Even the cassette player rocks as I borrowed my old rocker neighbors Neil Young album just to make sure.
AC blows freezing cold after the retrofit.
Power moonroof, windows, cruise control, wipers, and everything else works like new.
Excellent condition with only a dime sized ding in driver door, small scratch on hood and a few barely noticeable dings on passenger side.
An absolute dream MKII Supra for the collector or enthusiast!!
You're more than welcome to arrange an inspection here at Toyota San Diego before close of auction.
I've tried to describe it as accurately and honestly as possible but remember it is a used vehicle. As with any used vehicles there may be issues I have overlooked or unaware of.
I am not a dealer so there isn't a warranty.
I require a $500 deposit within 24 hours and is non refundable.
Shipping is buyers responsibility.
These excellent conditionMKII's are skyrocketing in value daily. I want it to go to someone that appreciates classic Japanese time capsules.
