Description of 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser

Restored Fj40 1970 model for sale. I bought this car from the previous owner who had teared it down for restoration. But he gave up. He had rebuild the motor with "new"crankshaft and bearings, and new seals. The vehicle is imported from California USA in 2011. The emission stuff is missing.

Original strong 3,9l inline six F engine, with three speed columnshift transmission that works well. Vacuum actuated 4wd selector. Locking hubs. Everything works.

Reprinted owners manual and factory service manuals is included.

Mileage is not confirmed as its only 5 numbers

SOLD AS IS with NO warranty.

This is done:

Engine is rebuild with new crankshaft and bearings, new seals. The head is rebuild with new freeze plugs, new improved valve stem seals, replaced rocker assembly with good used one.

Rebuild original carburetor. Ported vacuum port drilled, together with a new OEM non USA distributor. New plugs.

New fuel lines and filter, cleaned and sealed fueltank

New radiator element, thermostat, flushed cooling system.

New custom exhaust

New clutch disk t.o. bearing flywheel bearing... Complete new hydraulic system with new master slave and lines.

Transmission and transfer case is rebuild with new seals some bearings and synchro rings. New output drive flange forward and speedisleeve on seal surface on parking brake drum.

All seals on front axle and knuckles is replaced.

All seals on rear axle replaced

All bearings in the rear differential is replaced

New spring bushings

New dual brake master cylinder, new brake lines, honed and rebuild wheel cylinders, new brake shoes.

New body mounts

All new weatherstripping

Stainless steel nuts and bolts used outside

New emblems

Some new lights

Tires in original size (Diagonal 7,00x15) New hubcaps

New steering stabilizer, new seals in steeringbox

New upper dashpad

New headliner

New inner mirror, new sunvisors

New seat upholstery with new foam (only front seats)

Wire harness is unwrapped, bad wires replaced and rewrapped, some new connectors, switches, new fusebox, new ignition switch

The frame is sandblasted and primed with zinkepoxy, then primed with marine primer, then painted. The frame was perfect without rust.

Rusty areas in the tub and door was cut out and replaced with steel.

The body parts is also sandblasted and primed with zinkepoxy, then primed with epoxyprimer, filler and paint. The painting is done by myself and is not perfect.
