She's FINISHED... and absolutely gorgeous to say the least!! We purchased this rust free, original paint (before our restore) truck from a small dealership in Waco, Texas about 9 months ago. When I say rust free, I mean it was 100% rust free. It did have a snorkel on it that we removed and patched with correct gauge metal. The interior was completely stripped except the dash. The hood, doors, and hatch were also removed and the body was stripped and prepped for new paint. It is repainted to the inside of the jambs, inside and out, in its original "Dark Gray Metallic" color from the factory. It is painted in Dupont base/clear. The interior has all new carpet, 4-piece floor mats, the seats were stripped and repainted before new SOR vinyl upholstery was added and they look amazing. The original console is in great shape but still original with a little wear. The door panels and headliner are original but in very good condition as well. The rear quarter panels are original and in excellent condition and it retains its original jack and tool kit. All the electrical works like it should including the notoriously slow electric windows. The A/C works great and was just serviced and recharged in June of 2017. The drivetrain is original and solid. It has just over 110K original and document miles. The frame is rock-solid, like the rest of the body. It is riding on a 2.5" OME suspension lift with Nitro shocks. It has (5) new 15" M/T wheels wrapped in all new 33x10.50x15 BFG K02 A/T tires. It has a new ARB grill guard, ARB rock slider/steps, Gobi roof rack and a super awesome rear tire carrier and rack that was just powder coated in semi-gloss with 2 new jerricans that have never been used. The front brake rotors and pads were replaced at 104K miles and the brake wheel cylinder and shoes replaced at 108K miles. It also received a new windshield and windshield molding. This truck runs great, drives great and goes straight down the road. If you have never owned a vintage land cruiser, just know that they are not full of power and you won't win any races. This truck is a beauty and will make someone a happy driver. These models of Land Cruisers are continuing to rise in value at a rapid pace especially ones like this with low miles and professionally restored.
