Description of 1975 Toyota Celica GT

1975 Celica GT with 20R Hybrid Engine. There isn't another one like this anywhere! Shaved door handles, marker lights and emblems give it a look all its own. The interior has been redone with Corbeau Racing seats, and the back and door panels were done to match. The car was lowered about 2" and with the 50 series tires and updated sway bars, it corners very well.

The motor is a 20 R Hybrid (20R head on a 22R block), bored and balanced with twin Mikuni 44s. LC Engineering did the head work (Stage 5) with full porting, oversize valves, and a stage 3 cam. The bottom end is mostly LC parts as well with forged crank and pistons and everything mates to a racing clutch and 9lb aluminum flywheel. Last time on the dyno was 144hp and 140ft-lb of torque. The intake has been ported for nitrous and the kit is all there, but the installation has not been fully completed.
There are still a few things missing, the rear bumper is ready for the "smiley" bumper which I have, and there is crack near the rear spoiler on the passenger side (see photos). The front brakes were just converted to slotted roaters, but the rear brakes are still "shoe" style and the rear end should be gone through at some point.

Finally, note that this car isn't for everyone. Its probably not a good "daily driver" as it is highly modified and very fast. The car is incredibly fun to drive, but like any high performance car, it gets terrible gas mileage and will require a bit more maintenance than a daily driver might. That said, if you are looking for a classic Celica that is nearly complete, you won't be disappointed!
This is a real auction with no reserve, $12,500 starts the bidding (and there is half that in the motor alone). The car will ship when the check arrives or you can pick it up here if you prefer. (Note that you will need to make your own arrangements if you want it shipped.)
