Description of 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 CA Vehicle Immaculate 1-Owner !!!

This 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser was sold new by Thompson Toyota of Redwood City CA and has remained in the state till 2012. In 2012 original owner moved to Florida and the Toyota was acquired by us 6 month ago from its previous owner of 30 years, and has since undergone a refurbishment including a glass-out repaint in its original 8B2 blue color, new braking components, an interior refresh, replacement of exterior trim, and an air conditioning overhaul. The 4.0-liter...inline-six benefits from a rebuilt EFI and valve job, as well as a new water pump, oil pan gasket, battery, and more. Now showing just over 218k miles, this FJ62 is offered with the original manuals, various receipts, receipts totaling approximately $15k and a clear Title. A repaint in the original 8B2 blue color included removal of the trim, hood, doors, tailgate, seals, windows, and weatherstripping. Reassembly included installing a new Windshield and trim, rubber gaskets, exterior trim, hardware, and emblems. The front grille was restored. The FJ sits on 15? chrome wheels with new Toyota center caps and fresh 235 75 15 Tires. The braking system benefits from new rotors, pads, lines, drums and shoes. The original steering wheel remains intact and factory radio is functional. The odometer shows 218,120 miles, about 1,000 of which have been added by us since the completion of the refurbishment. The 4.0-liter 3F-E straight-six is mated to a 4-speed automatic gearbox and a 2-speed transfer case. Engine work conducted during the refurbishment included rebuilding the EFI, performing a valve job, milling the intake manifold, installing a water pump, battery, oil pan gasket and more. The emissions equipment still intact and should pass CA smog without any issues. Results of a recent compression test reportedly produced 150 psi on all cylinders. Additional under-body photos are available upon request and the fuel tank was recently cleaned and treated. The books and manuals will accompany the truck, along with the original owner's manual, a Toyota key, and various receipt.
