Description of 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser

1970 Toyota FJ55 LandCruiser. 1f straight six, 3 speed on the floor. It was parked for a long time (9yrs.) .Weber carb overhauled, new electric fuel pump, new water pump, thermostat and v-belt, added gas and she fired up. I drove it home 2 miles. Brakes are sketchy . I will say that it runs and drives (around the block), but I would highly recommend driving it onto a trailer. Lots of rust and very typical rust for a 55. Please refer to photos, I can post more if necessary. Both driver and passenger floor, rockers, lower fenders, roof along drip rail, etc. However, there are some very cool things about this cruiser. It does run! It has an Old Man Emu 3.5" lift, this is the older, original lift that is designed for the 55, not the newer lift that uses FJ60 rear springs and requires you to relocate the rear spring perches. It has a nice set of Steelies with 2 sets of OEM hubcaps. Freshly overhauler Weber carb with header. The interior is in very nice condition, good glass also comes with another set of complete glass, a perfect dash cap, hood and 4 extra doors from a 73' without wind wing that are in solid condition. I have been doing an off-frame restoration for the past 5 yrs on a 1974 FJ55, I know how hard it is to find parts. These vehicles are becoming increasingly rare and the parts that are available are expensive. This is great opportunity to purchase a clean titled, running, restoration (albeit a lot ) or parts vehicle. This is a true "no reserve" auction. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime, vehicle is also for sale locally. Bid with confidence, I have excellent feedback and thanks for looking!
