Description of 1966 Toyota Corona 1600 "S" TOYOPET

True JDM Corona "S" 1600 2-door coupe, dual Carbs with 3-speed manual, front Disc Brakes, rear wheel drive. Ultra Rare JDM find! All original numbers-matching JDM left-hand drive. This Super Rare JDM 1600 "S" was found in a salvage yard in North Kingston RI. It appears that a US Navy service man stationed in Okinawa in 1966 brought this home with him to Quonset Navy base in North Kingston RI. There has been much interest due to the internet in this Very Rare and Unique vehicle which does not have the word "Toyota" on it anywhere (I've enclosed some snap shots of documented history from classic JDM/Toyota forums). It is the "1600 S" 3-speed manual, front Disc Brakes, Dual-Carbs with special interior and "SPORT" dash and very rare motor (bell-housing is part of the motor-see pics) . It is very unusual that it is Left-Hand Drive. The front portion of floors are rusted, and its missing its front bucket seats. Examining the engine it appears that a thrown rod is what it put it in the salvage yard in the 60's. I have the original fender-mounted mirrors with original hardware and the original "S"emblems (they were on the car in the salvage yard). The odometer is in Km and reads 20304. I do not have the title or registration as it was discovered in salvage yard after more than 50 years (the car had been registered in RI by original owner). This is an UNBELIEVBLE opportunity for those interested investing in Ultra-Rare JDM vehicles.
