Description of 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser Land Cruiser FJ60

This is an extremely solid; no rust ever, FJ60 up for your consideration. The truck is originally from North Carolina, and was purchased in Florida. I purchased from the second owner of this well maintained vehicle. The car has a clean Carfax, with no accidents. The mileage is accurate and the title is clear. Since my purchase, I have had the following done by a well known FJ / Landcruiser specialist in South Jersey:
- Thetruckhad a complete tune-up.- Engine Compression checked by experienced Toyota Land Cruiser Specialist - all check out fine.- All fluids changed on every system.Including transmission; differential, radiator, brakes- Power steering box removed and professionally rebuilt - the original one put back in for authenticity.- New exhaust manifold.- 4 brand new tires at the time of this listing - done this in early July of this year. (40 miles on them)! - no joke.- Brakes were cleaned and adjusted - plenty of life left on them.- Truck is garaged and covered.- If you want to confer with my mechanic - who has extensive experience on the FJ / Landcruiser series; let me know I can provide his name and number. You want quality - this truck is for you.- Engine was cleaned - no Rustoleum paint or POR 15 used! - It's the real deal.- No leaks of any kind.- New hoses
The paint was faded; so I decided to have it repainted its original color and it came out fantastic! Please note, there were no bondo repairs done or rush whatsoever on the body or the chassis. Bone solid and thepictures show it. Some minor imperfections, as nothing is ever perfect in this world! It does need awindshield washer bottle; I just have not had the time to do it as I drive it rarely.
The interior is in very good shape. The drivers seat has a small tare by the headrest. The back seats are beautiful and clean as well as the carpet. The cargo area is clean with tape covering the back of the rear set due to a tare. The headliner and door cards are in excellent shape.
I did have an aftermarket temperaturegauge installed below the dash as the original temperaturegauge did not work. I am a bit of a purist when it comes to my trucks. I also have a '75 FJ40 original (not restored / original paint 90%) and documented as well as a short bed FJ45 just painted; and like this truck, both high standard vehicles, that will go up for sale in the near future. Both are US models.
A dash cap was installed as the original dashpad was cracked; and the front window has ceramic tint recently installed by a professional detail shop to reduce heat and help preserve the new dash cover. It presents very nice and drives great. The carpets are original and look great with minimal wear.
The truck has an aftermarket radio which works fine and the original AC works. The car is an original factory 4 speed with the original engine. It drives very smooth with no issues and it gets many compliments. Underside has no rust, damage or hidden repairs! Truly an honest truck and desirable.
You can fly in and drive this truck home. Its turn key; capable of long drives. It is super quiet and very smooth.You know the top speed on these trucks is 65 mph, so plan your trip accordingly!
