Description of 1980 Triumph Other Spider

Up for sale is my beautiful 1980 TR7 Spider Convertible/Drop head coupe. This car has been fully restored and really needs almostnothing. Car was originally a Northern California car from the Bay area that I purchased about six years ago. I spent 3 years a lot of hours and money to bring this car back to life. This is my third TR7 and by far one of the finest you will find at any price. Car is an original SPIDER not one painted to look like one (check the vin on the Spider Registry), pider graphics will come with the car but I liked the look without them. Car was converted from a California emissionfuel injected model back to twin carbs that were professionally rebuilt and polishedby Dana @ SUCarbs.com. Motor was purchased from a local TR7 Club member and had been recently rebuilt when I bought it. The stock motor and fuel injection system were left outside uncovered in the Arizona sun that had reduced them to scrap so I opted to give the car that vintage British Sportscar look under the bonnet. Car has electronic Allison/Petronixignition system, lectric fuel pump, ual electric fans, &N Air filters, cermamic coated header, ual exhaust with Magnaflow stainless mufflers which give it a deep rich mellow tone. Hella headlamp conversion, tainless brake lines, YB shocks and struts, prated lowered coil springs, oly bushing throughout the entire suspension, othing left untouched. Interior was reupholstered in black and grey and heat shielding/sound deadening materialand new carpet installed. Steering wheel sent to Moto Lita in the UK to be restored by the folks that originally built them for the Standard Motor Company. A new Alpine deck replaced the worn out stock unit and JL Audio speakers were swapped into where the Pioneers speakers once were. A new Sunbrella canvas convertible top was installed in place of the traditional Colonial Crush Vinyl for a more modern look and a much higher quality top. 140mph speedometer in place of the stock 85mph (speedo shows 128 miles driven) at the time of the restoration. AZ Title shows 103k which was the original miles on the car when I purchased it. It was required that I show the original miles on the title by the State. Car is registered as a "Collector" and as a result has no emissions or emission equipment on the motor. Car has the original A/C which is not currently hooked up but was fully operational and will be included with the car. Paint and exterior are finished in a Volvo factory black which at the time was the deepest black paint we could find. Paint and bodywork performed by Tony and the crew at Full Circle Autobody in Phoenix AZ where they had the carwhere they worked on her foralmost two months. Works Rally front spoiler shipped from Robsport Intl. in the UK finishes off the styling of this beautiful car. The under hood was left in the factory black paint for patina as well as authenticity and still bears the original T.P.A Paint decal so this could not be mistaken as a non-original Spider.Wheels and tires are 15x7 4:100 XXR wheels in silver and BF Goodrich 205/50/15 Comp T/A's which not only give the car a wider stance, ut increase the cornering ability of this TR dramatically. Transmission equipped with short throw shifter and Redline Racing Synthetic MTL and shifts flawlessly, reat for spirited driving. This car was a labor of love and shows it in every area. I have always had a special attraction to these cars and being that three of my family actually worked and helped build the original TR's at the Canely Coventry plant (Mom, ncle and Grandmother), have always had a huge appreciation for these cars. I really hate letting this one go but the car is rarely drivenand I am ready for a new project. Also included with this action if the reserve is met and the winning bidder wants themwill be a very large assortment of TR7 spares/parts that I have accumulated over the years. The list is very long from interior, xterior and mechanical parts. Please bid with courtesy and confidence.

Along with the car will come service manuals that are invaluable to any Triumph owner. Also need to note there is one very minor chip in the passenger door that I just noticed today while I was waxing the car. Very minor I had to look hard to see it but it is there and wanted to note that. I will try to get a photo but the glare from the paint shinning is making it quite difficult.
