Description of 1971 Triumph Spitfire

Auction is for a 1971 Triumph Mark 4 Spitfire convertible. Car has Triumph engine and transmission.

Engine runs very well, tarts right up and has never given any problems.Car is equipped with the original 4 speed transmission.

Great time of the year to own this car and enjoy riding around with the top down. Car needs nothing but new owner.

This is a great little car to drive around in or attend a car show.

Car was on the car show circuit about 5 years ago and consistently won first place in its class.

Everything appears to work on the car. Starts right up and runs down the road good.

Car has been sitting for some time and needs to be driven to get some of the old gas cycled through the engine.

Car has been garage kept for last 25 years and always had best of care and maintenance.

The body is in very good condition. There is no evidence of any rust except for some very minor spots just in front of rear wheels.

No rust throughholes. Color is a metallic brown.

The interior was redone some years ago and is still in very good condition. No tears or rips in seats or carpet.

The convertible top is in good condition, ith cover boot included. Odometer shows just over 82,000 miles and I believe this is correct.

Car is located in Spartanburg, outh Carolina. Appointments can be arranged for a test drive or inspection. Overall this is a very nice, riginal very solid car that can be driven anywhere.Car actually belongs to a friend of mine and any questions will be answered as soon as possible.
