Description of 1974 Triumph Spitfire Spitfire 1500

A 1974 Triumph Spitfire with only 22,0079 miles. This is an incredible find! The same car that Michael Douglas drove in"Ant Man" (see pictures). A beautiful, riginal that has led a 40 year "Sheltered Life"(always garaged). I bought it off of a friend who had stored it for 10 years, riving it rarely until the last 5, hen it was not driven at all. He approached me because he knew I was a Classic Carenthusiast and said he was interested in selling it to someone who would love it andappreciate it. I feel the same. This car should go to someone who will truly love and respect it. I watchedmy friendremove the cover for the first time in 5 years! The first thing I touched was the Driver's Seat and it was as soft as could be. I was quite surprised! As I went through the car and discovered the shape it was in I was simply amazed. I changed the fluids and bled the brakes and drove it home! The engine started almost immediately and doesn't blow any smoke (none!) Handles great! One friend said it turns on a dime and gave him 9 cents change! Once again; only22k miles! This model is a 1974, hich is the year that has the most chrome. Everything is original from the engine to the rims. Even the tranny is tight, o whining and always ready to run up to Aspen for a drive. The rubber bootson the Rack an Pinion don't even show any cracking. The Roll Bar may be aftermarket but it really looks cool. Thestereo is definitely new but sounds good. I can't think of anything else that is not original. It even has the original Jack and full spare (with air in it)This car is also the friendliest car I have ever owned. I love to take it to shows and watch the 50+ men walk up and sigh. They talk all about their car or one of their friends that they knew years ago withlonging. If I take my girlfriend for an ice cream on Sunday afternoon, veryone gathers around it. Don't worry, keep a close eye on it.:-) Rarely do I take it out and someone doesn'ttell mehow much they love it.

If you want a car that is original and doesn't require 1000's of hours of work and 1000's of dollars in parts and searching, his is the one. All ready to go. Please contact me for more pictures or questions. I will share everything I know about this Classic Beauty.
