Description of 1959 Triumph TR3 A

1959 TRIUMPH TR3A ROADSTER
This charming and unrestored car is a two owner California car with 39,762 original miles. Owned by a respected physician for the past 51 years, it's last official drive occurred in 2006. It's state of dormancy recently ended in April of this year, when a renowned British car specialist put the car through a major comprehensive service rendering the vehicle roadworthy once again. Brakes, electrical, suspension, cooling, transmission, carburetion, and ignition were all addressed. It starts up effortlessly and settles into a smooth idle. The gearshift slots nicely into first and it pulls strongly through all 4 gears the way it did 58 years ago. This clean and reliable driver should provide many miles of open air enjoyment for years to come. This "Wide Mouth" still dons it's original Pale Yellow paint on at least 90% of the exterior, while the interior appears to have been refreshened at some point recently in the cars's life. All documentation, including the original owner's manual are present. A vehicle of such provenance is very difficult to come by, let alone in this condition. Original and unrestored examples such as this are almost impossible to come by and will definitely be a sweetheart at any show or gathering. As one of Britain's most iconic roadsters, it is sought after by many who want a fun and classic roadster with a strong service and parts network. One of the more popular sports cars made by Triumph, this model will continue to ascend in both value and collectibility. The car is currently being stored indoors and has a CLEAN TITLE.
