Description of 1972 Triumph TR-6

Unfortunately, it's time for me to part ways with my stunning 1972 Triumph TR6. It has been a pleasure to own over the last few years, but I have some medical bills that need to be taken care of. The car has 77,929 original miles. It was originally brown, but was painted black by a previous owner. The paint is excellent and there is a very sporty red pinstripe on either side. The interior is is gray Vinyl and is also in excellent condition. The carpeting looks brand new as do the door panels. The soft top is in very good condition, with some of the reflective material flaking off in spots. All chrome is excellent with no major flaws. The trunk (boot) is very clean and has an original spare on a steel wheel. The wheels are black Panasport 16" racing wheels, and they are in excellent shape. The tires are almost New Good Year Eagle P215/60 R16 Touring. The steering wheel is a 15" leather wrapped Moto-Lita. The engine bay is almost clean enough to eat out of and includes stainless radiator shroud and black alloy valve cover. The twin SU carbs were recently rebuilt. There is also a back up bonnet release installed under the passenger side dash. The headlights are Lucas PL tripod lights. All electrics are in working order. The side mirrors are the bullet racing type. Also included is a hard to find factory hardtop in red, which looks great with the pinstripe. The top is in excellent condition and comes with a stand and a cover. Almost forgot to mention there is a red roll bar and I have a black padded cover for it. An owners manual and all paperwork for any work I had done is Alain included, along with an indoor cover. I think I covered everything, but ask any questions you like. Car is sold as-is, where-is. It is a 45 year old British car, and we know how temperamental they can be at times. Thanks for looking!
