Description of 1949 Triumph 2000 Convertible

Hello to all eBayers!I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I’m liquidating my collection since I’m selling my warehouse. Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the...right place! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. This 1949 TRIUMPH 2000 is located in a Copart facility in 286 EAST TWINSBURG ROADNORTHFIELD, OH 44067. I tried to sell it on Copart, but this vehicle is a classic, clean title vehicle. You can buy this vehicle on Ebay or through Copart by becoming a member. This vehicle has a clear Ohio title. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.1949 TRIUMPH 2000 ROADSTER CONVERTIBLEThe Triumph Roadster is an automobile which was produced by Britain's Standard Motor Company from 1946 to 1949. It was first available as the Triumph 1800 Roadster (18TR) from 1946 to 1948 and then as the Triumph 2000 Roadster (TRA) from 1948 to 1949.The Triumph 2000 is the successor of the Triumph 1800., and from the wikipedia page, it looks like right around 2500 were hand built, so it's very low production car. Aluminum body, and steel/wood frame they were powered by a 3 speed (synchronized) manual, 4 cylinder engine. What really makes this car unique is the dickey seat under the rear deck with a cover that had two glass panels, forming a protective windshield for the two passengers when the cover was opened, as shown in a few of the photos. MechanicalYou are viewing a very complete, relatively original rare car with great look that needs some love. Car comes equipped with a 4 cylinder engine and 3 speed (synchronized) manual transmission. The car was sitting for few years and will need some work to get it running. The motor is not locked up, and does turn over by hand. The oil and antifreeze are clean and not leaking. There are many receipts for mechanical tune up items before car was parked. Plugs, wires, belts, oil changes etc... so the car was cared for at regular intervals. Car rolls and steers very, very easily. Tires are older but appear to be in good condition and hold air. Spare and jack are all there as area the original tire irons, and what appears to be an engine crank. Exterior The overall condition of the exterior body panels are great to excellent. Of course, there are some paint imperfections and some dings and dents here and there but nothing major. The undercarriage is solid and dry. Front fenders are aluminum. The rear windshield and Rumble seat all function great and lock into place. All window frames fold down as they should. The top is in great shape. Chrome is presentable. All glass is nice and intact. Original windows and frames all work and roll up and down smoothly. InteriorThe interior is really nice and complete, no rips or tears. Gauges are all European and look right. Comes with 30 years of paperwork and triumph associated materials from the triumph roadster club. Overall great interior that needs a good detail cleaning. Remember, this vehicle is from the 1940’s, and even though I’ve tried my best to describe it, it can have some imperfections which I’m not aware of.I’m saying this because I’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered!
