Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this really lovely TR-6 in a great original color scheme. This car was just purchased from it's second owner who took great care of the car, and was only selling it because he felt it needed to be driven and enjoyed more often. The overall condition of this car is extremely good, both cosmetically and mechanically, and is a genuine factory French Blue/Black car from new.The bodywork and gapping on this car is excellent. Panels align very well. All of the panels open and close correctly with proper gaps. Paintwork appears to be a very good single repaint over in it's correct and original French Blue, showing only minimal use since. The windshield is a quality Triplex item and appears newer with a fresh gasket. Bright work is very good and original, but the chrome on the bumpers are starting to show some age. The car's body is impressive, being completely accident-free and rust free.The car's interior trim is in excellent order throughout with what appears to be newer seat covers, a thick cut pile black carpet kit, newer dash top pad, front floor mats. An exquisite, high-gloss dark walnut dashboard fasciawith fresh knobs and crisp instruments complements the driver's cockpit. A newer, well-fitting, quality black soft top and top boot complete the weather equipment.Mechanically, the car is excellent. It starts easily on the button and warms up nicely. The engine revs very well with great oil pressure, no smoke or noises, and feels well-tuned. The clutch bites well and feels very positive, along with a super good gearbox with nice bearings and syncros. The car goes along the road with good power. The grippy, slightly oversize Michelin tires give the car plenty of confidence in the turns. The drive line feels tight, smooth, and quiet overall with evidence of plenty of maintenance and normal upkeep/repairs. It's a great driving TR-6.
