Description of 1987 Volkswagen Golf GT

Up for sell is my 1987 VW Golf GT MKII 2 dr hatchback.This has been my daily driver for almost 2 yrs now. 189k on the ODO. I bought this couple of years ago not running with intentions of just using as a dailycommuter(commute 120 mile each day) and we all know how that ends. I have replaced a lot of parts to make sure it is reliable. It was a 1.8 CIS, ut I got tired of trying to overcome the issues with that system. so I converted it to a 2.0 ABA with ported 8V RD head.converted to Digifant 2. Has an Autotech cam.(slightly rough idle).Autotechadjustable cam sprocket.I do have a spare stock Rd head with aprox 4k miles on it.(smog).it has a late model 5 speed. I was told by the person I bought the trans from that it has a limited slip in it. how ever I have not taken it apart to see, t does however act/pull like a limited slip. It wasoriginallya white car and painted palladium silver. the paint job is ok but not great.. JUST PASSED SMOG 06/16/15
the interior is in great shape. no cracks on the dash, here is a little distortion around the dash speakers, s to be expected from a 28yr old car.I haverefurbisheda set of REAL RECARO C seats.8 way adjustable. with electric recline and VW recaro seat brackets with electric height adjust. Leather with MK6 plaid inserts(Jackyplaid). 2 step heated seat,air bladder.Ido not have a back seat in the car, very thing works.gaugesin center console.
Overall it is very reliable. since converting it to digifant I have had no issues with it.this isn't one of those hacked cars. It is daily driver that I made into a really cool daily driver.handle well,stops well.MOST OF THESE PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH IN THE LAST 18 MONTHS.I'm sure there are a bunch of little things I am forgetting.(SEE LIST BELOW) I have some spare item that go with it. I have a bunch of receipts to show. any questions just ask. thanks.
