Selling my 1969 Volkswagen California Bus (transporter Van). Original 7 passenger van. Original Color is Rare Delta Green it seems like the previous owner painted over it. I would rate the paint to be daily driver condition, t has a few rock chips in the paint the body is all original and is rust free and straight. Very Solid this bus has been my daily driver and functions perfect. 4 speed manual transmission shifts smooth and functions perfect. All lights are working correctly. All doors open and shut as they should. Roof has no wholes does not leak if there was to be rain. Had the engine redone completely new internals, eals, askets,exhaust, anifold, eaders, s well as externals. Everything engine wise is brand new. Has only 600miles on the new engine very reliable can drive to the other side of the country no problem. Starts right up. To best of my knowledge I can only find 3 very small rust issues. The first is on the passengers side under the seat where one of the seat bolts go it has a whole about an inch size which can very easily be patched does not affect the drivability nor the passenger. The second is on the Drivers side middle vent window on the lower part of the trim it appears to have little rust not sure if it just needs new rubber seal or minimal patch work. Lastly the battery tray which is an easy fixer upper or can stay as is I never had any issues. Floors and body as perfect as I have seen on ebay or anywhere else. This is a true Los Angeles California Bus and I was planning on bringing it with me to Vermont but due to my financial situation I am forced to sell. This is a head turner and get compliments almost daily. Registered in the state of Vermont USA as I was planning on taking it there but has never left California. The bus is fully insured and will come with a bill o sale and registration transfer as Vermont does not issue Pink Slips for cars older than 10 years. The two front seats are from a 70s bus which recline back or forth. the 2 plates shown on the last picture where once riveted behind the passenger side seat but where removed when the 2 front seats where installed and the seat backing was removed, hose must be riveted back on. Has the middle 2 passenger seat as well as the 3 passenger back bench seat. All seats could use reupholster but is very decent condition as is. Will need inside panels and a stereo. Will also need the handbrake I will include it with the purchase it will just need to be installed. Could use new tires.
