1969 Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia A Groovy Kind of Love 1969 Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia Here's something you don't see everyday...a '69 Karmann-Ghia. It's a nice, ute, W that's mechanically very good. It has been currently used as daily transportation around town. The motor is reliable, tarts every time, nd has had a recent tune-up/service. The California registration is current and the VW still maintains both CA six-digit blue/gold license plates. This Ghia was recently purchased from its long-time owner who bought the car in Los Angeles back in 1977. After 46 years, his classic VW still rides proudly in the essential Volkswagen tradition of being a simple, ell-engineered, nd economical vehicle. Exterior is black w/ a light blue top. The paint shines nicely and looks great from a distance. However, t has rust throughout, ost notably on driver’s side rocker panel, ecklid tops, nd some underneath on the pan. Finish has large paint chips and many flaws. The VW needs lots of interior work. This includes, ut is not limited to: seats, oor panels, eadliner, ash pad, oth window regulators, uter driver side door latch (handle), arpeting, peedometer. Ignition key switch needs to be manually turned back after starting motor, s the inner spring is broken. < The tried & true Volkswagen "upright" engine is in stock condition, ith a single carburetor.
