Description of 1979 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Just over 28,000 original miles and located near Milford, I. Very honest car - looks good and runs great. The pictures speak for themselves. Car is mechanically very strong and condition of the paint, nterior, op, nderside and engine compartment all support mileage as shown.
No engine or transmission leaks and no know accidents based on info from previous owner. Paint is real nice - nonoticeableevidence ofover-spray,so I am not sure if it is original paint or not. Engine compartment is super clean. Floor pans and battery compartment and underside are clean.
History based on previous owner - car spent 20 plus years in a dealer museum in Indiana when it was sold to a dealer in Chicago. It was then sold in locally in Illinois to a gentleman that gifted it to his girlfriend in Battle Creek, ichigan. This is where I bought the car 2 years ago.
I am not an expert in these cars - but I believe the tires to be original or at least from the era. Everything works as it should and is in very good condition. There are a couple minor stone chips as expected and one of the rear inside quarter window rubber seals has a small tear. Top is original and has a small blemish (not hole) which is also hard to see. The best part of the car is how it drives and handles for its age. Still tight and engine runs great.
I have two sets of original VW keys (both glove box and ignition), anual, arranty book and tool kit (which I purchased) that will go along with the car along with some odds and ends. I also have two original advertisements from the time the car was marketed which I will included.
This is a very honest car - not concourse, ut very nice. The mileage is just over 28000 and based on what I have been told and the way she looks - I believe it to be original.
Its summer and someone should enjoy the car.
