Description of 1979 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Convertible

Extremely nice iconic and original VW Superbeetle Convertible. This car has not been restored. It has 100 percent of its very nice original Mars red paint on it and has always been garaged. There are a couple of very minorbug chipsbut overall the paint is exceptional, specially considering the age. There is no rust and I have removed the battery to show the rear floor board. This car was purchased here new in North Carolina and has never left the state. I have all the owners manuals and lots of documentation. The car only as 37,990 original miles on it and is super clearn (even underneath the wheel wells and chassis. The spare and jack are all present along with the small tool kit. Clock even works. I also have the original parade boot. This was the last year for import into the US by Germany. This car still has the original top which is in great condition. However, he headliner while in excellent condition does sag a little and needs to be reattached. Winning bidder needs to make a $500 pay pal deposit within 24 hours. The balance needs to be paid within 7 days. I will except certified check or money order. Checkmustclear before title will be released. Buyer must pay for shipping but I will help coordinate pick up. I have added a few additional pictures mostly of the underside. There are no leaks. Please note how clean car is under the wheel wells and chassis. Thankfully, his car was not undercoated as many are so that nothing is covered up. You can clearly see there is no rust and just how well this car has been taken care of and how pristine it is underneath. It even looks better in person than in the pictures.
