1994 Volkswagen Jetta GL 5-Speed Manual 194,000 Miles Pennsylvania Inspections/Emissions good until July 2016 $2,000 Up for sale is a 1994 Volkswagen GL that I bought in May 2014. I am the car's third owner and purchased this for my sister to drive. She has no need for the car and I don't need a second car. The car has all standard features of the GL plus recently charged air conditioning (blows 40-degree air), ruise control, nd sunroof. An aftermarket Kenwood head unit and speakers have been installed in the vehicle. You'll be hard-pressed to find a car with an interior as clean as this one! Normal tear inside and out - This car is really a joy to drive and very fuel efficient! However, few items still need attention: • Central locking system does not work (doors lock manually) • Very slight sputter under heavy loads at low RPMs • Airbag light is on (used to come on and off intermittently) • Check engine light on (OBD I car, an pass emissions testing with light on since OBD I computer) • Cruise control module needs to be replaced ($40 fix) The car was garage kept by its first owner. The body is in very good shape. There are some scuffs and small dents that come with age. Remarkably, here is very little rust on the car. The only rust is near the gas filler neck. This car would be terrific for a first car, o modify, r just to have a car to drive around town. I have paperwork and receipts for many of the repairs. Also, have a few extra parts, ncluding a front set of struts for the vehicle that will be included in the sale. Price is negotiable, ut keep in mind the amount of new parts in the car increases the value over Blue Book or Edmunds pricing guides. |
