Description of 1975 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

Up for auction is a 1975 Volkswagen Kombi 15 Window bus. This bus is in driver quality condition, ith one of the better undercarriage/floor pans I have seen on a bus. The rocker panels are very very straight and clean with original drains in tact, riginal metal no patches. The roof drip rail is also clean and not full of putty. I have been very honest and clear with my photos about the condition and flaws this bus has. I have a clear Florida title in my name. Florida residents are required to pay me sales tax as I am a licensed and registered Florida dealer.

The split front windshield buses were made in Germany and also Brazil. German made buses with a split front windshield were manufactured in Germany up until 1967 andup until 1975 in Brazil. This is NOT a conversion or a made up bus, t is a factory built 15 window bus built by Volkswagen.

This bus runs and drives halfway decent, ts a great bus to enjoy while you restore/modify it. I would say the steering freeplay is about average, ts probably around 6” of freeplay. Does not over heat but does get a little wet under the engine which is pretty common with these air cooled buses. The interior is OK, or whats there. I’m not crazy about the upholstery pattern but it is in decent shape. I do not have any rear seats for this particular bus and you can see the floor pans on the to and bottom are in great shape. The bottoms of the doors are very nice and clean and all the doors shut pretty good. The body is nice, ot super straight but very solid. The glass shows normal wear with light scratches, nd clearly the windows are tinted pretty dark.

Over all this bus is an eye catcher and will draw attention where ever it goes. It is not perfect so don't expect a piece of freshly polished jewelry but a respectable driver/project. I highly encourage and insist on visual in person inspections whenever possible.
