Description of 1981 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Westfalia Westy

1981 Vanagon Camper for sale : Like I said above: Inside restored couple years ago, outside looks original and appears to not havehad any bodywork done to it.I have drove this camper every weekend for the last two months 30-50 miles per weekend and it drives quite well, ave had it up to 80 on the expressway, ery smooth with no shakes, oshimmers or wobbles. If you look underneath itand in the wheel wells, seems like when it was new it had undercoating, ow over the yearsthe undercoating has shrunk and you can see a damn clean white frame underneath it. 169k on the odometer when itstopped, ll lights inside and outside work perfect, empurpedic cushions on the inside bench & bed. Front seats have the original blue tweed under seat covers. Canvas top is nice, ops up perfect, o holes, leeps four, op bunk is comfortable also. Has a tempurature gauge for the air-cooled fuel-injected engine, n hot days it runs about 220, ool days about 190 degree.Radio faceplate bounced out thedoor m.i.a. Spedometer & gas gaugeindicators work andall dash indicator lights work with no service lights on. The fan knob on the dash doesn't twist the fan on. I used a plug in coleman cooler and a propane stove and propane heater would include with it possibly and have a large cooler that fits in the top front storage tray. Brakes work not great, akes a couple pumps to harden the pedal. Ibought it from a local guy here in Wisconsin, e bought itfrom a couplein Minnesota.Below is some more technical info on it.Any questions or for more pictures feel free to email me, ave had my house up for sale since spring with no offers, y plan was to downsize into this camper andmove to California but no offers as of yet. If house sells before this auction is over, reserve the right to not sellthe camperand keep it.
