Description of 1965 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

I've owned this car for 2 years and it is a good solid Beetle. I have driven it regularly and it does everything a 1965 Beetle is supposed to do. It has a 1641 cc motor with high voltage electronic ignition. It cranks very easily. it idles properly and runs strong with excellent acceleration. It has a chrome decorative kit in engine compartment. The mechanics of car are sound with no major issues. There are some small oil drips from engine. The car is "peppy" and gets to 65 MPH quickly. It steers and tracts properlyThe recent paint is single-stage and would look very good if it was color sanded and buffed. as is. it is a good "driver quality" paint job. There is some Bondo on car. but not much. There is no rust visible anywhere on car or underneath it. I have a car lift and I have looked it over thoroughly. Floor boards are sound. I rebuilt brakes. installed the electronic ignition. replaced the shocks. I installed new carpet with dynamat to reduce noise and heat. It has new LED taillights. It has a new gas tank. All glass is good. It has custom aluminum wheels and custom exhaust. It has a "vintage look" stereo with 4 speakers. The passenger side blinker doesn't work. which is a recent development. if you are interested and want to know more about car call me @ 90 three-8 two 4- four 7 two 0. The is a very low mileage car. nbsp;it had been out of action for over 15 years in owners garage. They had it painted and the motor replaced/rebuilt. This is an excellent Beetle to buy and drive without having to do anything. or it has the "bones" to be upgraded to a show car. There is no warranty on car.
