Description of 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible

1969 Karmann Ghia Convertible. Quality amateur restoration over 10 years. New paint, new glass all around, new top, new interior, new carpet, speed sport wheel, high end stereo with hidden bazooka subwoofers. This year Ghia had a much stronger 1600 cc engine, so not a weak runner at all, you can cruise 75 with ease. Painted with a gorgeous red KIA paint, always matches and available anywhere.
Car has some dings and dents. Nose was replaced years ago with lightweight replacement. Anything is available for these cars. Specialty shops abound. Easy and cheap to work on, but stylish and classic. Designed by the greatest designer of the day, it was made to look modern and beautiful even a century after its design. Car is located in Montana. Sold as is where is. Full payment within 7 days. Immediately after the auction you can come to Missoula within 7 days (served by major airlines) and examine the car. $250 retained by seller if buyer declines, but any other money returned if you do not want the car.
The auto should be transported. National companies work well. Or you can rent a uhaul carrier and come get it. It would be a beautiful fall trip to the rockies. Or there is a small and high quality transport company locally that is quite reasonable and transports single cars. Ask for details.
This car is not perfect. Some slight rust was on underbelly, but it was rust treated and car has received a quality undercoating. A quarter size drop of oil leaks weekly. Some door dings and paint scuffs. Restore more, or frankly we choose to drive it as it is now. Ready to go and enjoy.
