Description of 1970 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic |

1970 Patina Bug NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!!! You are looking at the original paint with Clear coat to show off and preserve the beautiful natural patina. Absolutely no bondo or filler on any of the body so you know exactly what you get. I believe I am the second owner of the car with the title in my name. This beauty was last registered in 1975 and still has the 1975 rear license plate. I believe this car to have 37000 original miles as the steering is very tight and still original and also has a 1970 only, untouched engine case with the factory pistons and cylinders. The engine was removed, Resealed and repainted using as much of the original equipment as possible. The pistons are the original dished style and case is a 1970 only case (Code B6) with original heads. This car also has the very rare 1970 only 1600 single port dual relief case with 57hp stock (Case code B6) which is the highest output VW engine produce for 1970 or earlier Beetles and the highest output single port ever produced.
This car runs, drives and stops well, the car will start right up on the first crank. The interior is fresh and new with re-stuffed and recovered front and rear seats, brand new headliner and brand new oem real dash pad and even new carpet. The seatbelts are in original, working condition and year correct for the Beetle. Eye catching red interior instead of the same old black seats you always see with matching Red door panels. Wheels have been repainted oem silver and have brand new tires. Inside the trunkalso shows the original paint and wiring that are very well preserved with no repaint orover-sprayon the fuse box like you wouldexpect to see in an almost 50 year old car. Another nice feature is that one key will start the car and also fits both door locks. Brakes have been almostcompletelyreplaced. New master cylinder, wheel cylinders and all softlines. pedal is firm and responsive. Here is a list of the new parts. Exterior New Horn New wipers New Headliner
