Here is a very hard to find 1969 VW Squareback wagon. A friend of mine purchased this car a few years ago and it has been kept in a garage for years in dry storage.
This is a very original survivor quality VW and about as solid as you will find!!! It spent most of its life in Arizona! The fenders, doors, floors etc are solid as a rock! The rocker panels show some rust in them and need replaced or repaired other than that she's solid!
This car is mechanically great! I have driven it around town myself personally the last 3 or 4 weeks and put approx 500 miles on it myself. My friend who I purchased it from is one of the best known mechanics in the area and approx 4 months ago he completely rebuilt the engine and went through all of the brakes. The car has had less than 1,200 miles since the engine rebuild.
All lights, signals, horn, wipers etc work properly!!
The interior appears to be all original. Both front seats have tore places the carpet is dirt faded and worn and the headliner has a tear in it on the passenger side also the dash pad has a crack in it. (all visible in pictures) All of the glass looks excellent!!
This is a good solid car that is fun to ride and drive like it is. It gets a lot of compliments and attention everywhere it goes! Ride it now and restore it later!! If you want a show car or perfect car it will need a complete restoration.
