Description of 1967 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Deluxe

If you are looking for a great bus, but you don't want to pay a ton of money, this one is for you. If you want to restore a bus, this is a great start with plenty of value left for the next owner. This bus runs nice, drives comfortably, and stops just fine. I spent the summer replacing a large amount of rusty metal on the underside. Almost all of the rust has been cut out and replaced with new metal. I have driven this on multiple 100-200 mile trips with no issues. I performed a valve adjustment and adjusted the brakes. Motor runs smooth and stops just fine.
The Good:Its a 13 window Deluxe that is fairly straight and minimal rust. New inner and outer rockers, ne jack points, new cross-members, new outriggers, and new heater tube. New wiring harness installed. Deluxe trim is installed and in good condition. New front chrome emblem. New 15" tires. Front seat upholstery is in usable condition. Bus starts right up. Drip edges are excellent. Cargo floor has some very minor rust damage. Replacement metal provided. Transmission shifts smoothly into all gears. Bus cruises right down the road. New relay, new turn signal switch. Clock and wiper motor included. All of the pop-outs are there and in decent condition. M Code for the interior is the rare Aero Papyrus. Rear hatch has the jail bars.
Needs Improvement:There is no interior except for the front seats. The roof was dented a bit upon purchase due to snow load (It lived in Grand Teton National Park). I was able to fix it about 95%. Please check out the pictures. The motor leaks. The drivers rear reduction gear leaks. The rear side cargo door lower mounting bracket for the screws is broken. New metal provided. 15" Beetle smoothie wheels. E brake handle is missing the push button so it will not engage. The front nose appears to have been pushed in and repaired. The inner valance behind the front nose has been damaged. Both the nose and valance are functional, but would need to be replaced if performing a full restoration. The heater log is missing. Steering is a little sloppy.
This is a great bus to just drive and enjoy. It is also an excellent candidate for a full restoration. If you are local, please come and take it for a test drive. If you are out of town, I will do everything I can to disclose any issues I know of.
If you are interested in any additional pictures please ask. I am not interested in any trades. I already have multiple projects.
Shipping is not included. I am willing to assist with a shipping company of your choosing. Including overseas.
