Description of 1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

This 1974 VW Beetle is in good shape with a restoration performed in 2011. This vehicle had a new motor replaced on October of 2015 by accompany in Dallas, TX known for expert engine rebuilds followed by completion of work in January of 2016 where a valve adjustment was performed along with adding fresh oil. The motor's case as well as crank, pistons, rings, bearings, valves, cylinder heads were replaced in 2015 by Qualitat of Dallas, TX. The motor has less than 500 miles on the new engine. Receipt with all work performed will be included with the sale. This VW Beetle was outfitted with a brand new AC system that is operational and was installed in 2011 during original restoration. You will need to add Freon. This Karmann Super Beetle has been outfitted with a bushing kit as well as new shocks, CV axle's, top, interior panel's, carpet, stereo. Front bumper is not affixed to the vehicle currently but is available and will be attached when vehicle is shipped to winning buyer. The only fault I can see with this 42 year old Beetle is the Fenders that were repaired but not repainted and some cracked paint on the rear apron. Bear in mind that this is a 42 year old Beetle and is not a perfect restoration, but is a perfect platform to complete the project. This vehicle is registered and has had an inspection. This Beetle has a lot of potential. The engine as you can see from the receipt is only a year old with very low mileage. The work completed included the steering box as well as all new drums. The Beetle was purchased back in 2013 for $6300. I have the receipt for this. The previous owner put another $6500 in additional work a few years later as can be seen with attached receipts. I have recently installed a new fuel filler hose, braided fuel hoses, new ignition switch, installed new carpeting in boot area. The floor pans appear to be in perfect shape with no rust. As I've mentioned...this vehicle is 42 years old... Ask any questions you may have and I will answer those questions. A video of the vehicle can be seen at this link
