Description of 1993 Volkswagen EuroVan

For sale, our well cared for Eurovan Weekender. This is a pop top, “picnic” van that has the bed converted to a '82 Vanagon bed, instead of an engine compartment under the bed, there is lots of easily accessible storage, much easier to use than the stock 93 set up & a more comfortable bed. I have a homemade rack to house the ice chest and 2 crates. In addition there is drawer space and mini cabinets for kitchen type storage. The table lost a corner to fit this conversion.

Seats 2, room for three to sit in back seat but no seat belts are installed. Sleeps 4. Includes an igloo cooler box, 2 custom fitting storage crates (milk crate), modified folding table, interior lights work, canvas in good condition, aux battery (under the driver seat) with dc plug in. I am the 2nd owner and have meticulously cared for this van-servicing at every interval (oil changed EVERY 3500 miles!) and I have replaced worn parts, as needed. I had the transaxle rebuilt by German Transaxle Repair of America (35k on rebuilt transaxle- It shifts very smooth. Clutch also replaced. Timing belt and water pump replaced at 203K…., shocks have less than 18K on them. The engine is strong, even with 216k miles on it, it uses less than a quart of oil in a change. The interior is clean (no smokers), van has all curtains to black out interior, mosquito netting for rear lift gate. and privacy curtain for the front, two side windows open and have screens. Michelin 6 ply tires have 18k miles on them. I've owned the van since 2002 and it has been our weekend and long haul vehicle as well. The majority of the miles are hwy miles. Everything works, AC, Cruise, CD player, includes "bronco" brackets for roof rack and 1 1/4 hitch we used to haul bicycles.I always parked in a garage. All accessories work. Minor surface rust shown in pictures.

This unit does NOT have a kitchen or a rear heater.
We hate to see our beloved van go, but retirement beckons us! She is ready for more adventures. Title is clean ready for transfer. We are located in Western Colorado
Thanks for the interest!
