Vehicle Overview 1965 Volkswagen Beatle
a 1500cc single-port 4-cylinder engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. This Type 1 started out solid and straight, and went through a complete ground-up restoration. Painted in a desirable orange exterior and with a classic styling two-tone brown and tan vinyl interior with weave carpet, the lay-down rear seat and a front parcel tray. The exterior features include a rear wood luggage rack, upper wood luggage rack with the over-rider front bumper, euro driving lights and even Bosch front headlight lens covers. This Beetle drives excellent and looks the part, including the vintage-style BFGoodrich tires on the matching two-tone painted wheels with chrome caps. During the restoration, the engine and transmission had a complete rebuild and the electrical had a 12-volt conversion. This Beetle has been driven and enjoyed.
