I purchased June2008....Restored in 2006: Engine rebuilt, floor pans replaced, black German canvas top, black interior panels and carpet. New PICT 30 carburetor, disk brakes, master cylinder, gas tank, andnew rubber seals.EMPI-style wheels with Kumho tires & chrome bumpers. Front seats from a Ford Taurus mounted on the VW tracks, original VW seats may be put back in place if desired. Aug. 2013 the odometer read 104,608 when stopped working, was replaced with a 1975 model, reading 75,510 (have receipt & picture of mileage). Today the odometer reads76,459.She gets a lot of attention when taken out for exercise, otherwise stored in the garage. RUNS LIKE A TOP!
