Description of 1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Coupe

For sale is a 1974 Regular Volkswagen Beetle. This Bug is in GREAT shape for the age. A lot of money and new parts have gone into it and it's a very nice and dependable driver.
I am listing this car with NO RESERVE, in my opinion; it is worth much more than the starting asking price, currently insured for $9,800, starting bid is less than half of what it is insured for. This is a very fun car to drive around this summer! Someone will be very pleased. Thecar has too much to list, but I will do my best to describe it to the best of my ability - as I try to always be honest, and list it as if I was buying it what I would want to know to as well!
Some of the work and extra's that it has had in the last two years:
-EMPI 8 Spoke Wheels
-Shaved signals on front fenders, new bumper with signals in bumper
-Recessed tail lights
-Pioneer CD Player w/ 4 Pioneer box speakers
-New sway bar and bushings
-New Shocks
-New Ball Joints
-New Tire Rod Ends
-Complete Front End Disc Brake Conversion
-Bugpack trigger shifter
...and much more. Runs like it should! Excellent on gas. Car is RUST-FREE to the best of my knowledge. Floors are VERY solid. Car needs nothing but a driver. You will be pleased.Everything works as it should to the best of my knowledge!Drive it home, if you are mechanically inclined and know how to drive vintage cars! In my opinion, the Bug looks just as good as it does in the photos. It was very well kept over the years and lots of money and time have been invested on the Bug as you can tell.
*Surfboard does not go with sale

Please, keep in mind; this is a 40+ year-old classic car. It is not a new car and it drives like a vintage classic collectible car should. You are more than welcome to see the car before the end of the auction if you wish to. Also, with that note please remember - these old VW’s are toys. I would not suggest someone buying this for his or her 16-year-old daughter as a first car because it’s “cute." It’s a vintage car, and it requires maintenance like any other 45-year-old car.

*If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. More photos are available upon request. The CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AS WELL, therefore- the seller has right to end listing early if car sells before end of auction. There is NO RESERVE! Please do not bid unless you intend to buy! My starting price is listed much lower than what I have the car for sale locally at.

*A $200 non-refundable deposit is due by paypal within 48 hours of the auction ending, unless agreed upon otherwise after the sale. Remainder is due within 7 days of auction closure. Pickup due within 7 days as well, unless other-wiseddiscussed, or shipping. Payment ONLY accepted as cash in person. It is fully the buyers responsibility to arrange shipping if needed (lower 48 states only) If you are shipping the car, a certified cashiers check is fine, but it can take 7-10 business days to clear, before car leaves possession if being shipped! Car has a clean and clear SC title. If you want to fly in and drive it home, I will be happy to pick you up at the Augusta (AGS) Airport in Augusta, GA. Also, please note, I will be out of town and unavailable from August 03-06.

Car is located in Graniteville, SC 29829. Further, I can be reached at 803-393-9550 if you have any further questions of need a quick response! Many blessings and best of luck bidding! Someone will be getting a wonderful Bug!
