Just finished rebuilding my 1970 Vert. It has a fresh 1835 engine with 2 Weber (Empi)40 carbs. 12 volt Alternator, New electronic distributor. Transmission is a freeway flyer, goes down the interstate fine. Has headers and Empi muffler.
Starting at the front and working back, The fuel tank was removed and cleaned and painted, fuel line was blown out and cleaned to the rear from there all new fuel line with fuel filter. Front and rear Nerf bars were added, steering was completely rebuilt with new tie rod ends, ball joints and 2 1/2" lowered spindles, all brakes were completely redone with new hardware, shoes, hoses, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. Completely rewired system with fuse panel.
Inside, new dash pad, new turn signal switch, restored speedometer which is now showing 170 miles. All interior was replaced, seat covers, carpet, door panels. Complete new hartz cloth convertible top installed. Has a new windshield, but all door glass and rear window are original. Has new battery. All rubber replaced on windows doors etc. New banjo wood steering wheel and adapter. Has a JVC stereo with amp.
All four tires are new and wheels balanced. New running boards. Had to replace right rear floor pan, only place that showed any rust. The little car runs super, stops well and steers tight.
Clean clear title in hand!! Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements. Basically everythinghas been gone through and repaired or replaced with new parts. Only selling to finish up a new project.
