It is California street legal and ready to go. I did not build it so I do not know all of the details on the motor but I believe it is a relatively stock 1600. I don't think it is anything too radical but it does runs very well. Sounds great too. The body is in good shape, as well as the interior. Nice ProCar seats. The tire, brakes, clutch, are all in good working order. I am located in Solana Beach, CA in North County Coastal San Diego. Clean, clear CA title in hand with current tags. No smog ever needed. It is a Baja Bug. It has some chips and scratches. It is not perfect. Please be realistic with your expectations. However, it is fast and affordable fun that will put a smile on your face every time you take it out. It would make a perfect first "cool" car for your kid. This is a great little VW that everybody loves. Have some fun this summer!
I can help with transportation either getting it loaded on a truck or assisting you however I can at the buyer's expense. Inspections are encouraged but must be completed before the end of the auction. $1000 non refundable deposit due at auction end and remaining balance due within three working days.
