Description of 1976 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic pin stripes

1976 VW BUG Convertible

-One owner for past 39 years. Owned 3 years by previous owner (1976-1979)

-Odometer reading is 38,882. Actual mileage is not known since odometer was not working some years. I estimate less than 90,000 miles.

-Repainted silver from original red (1987 and 2014). Detailed with pin stripes (2014).

-Major updates since purchase: new engine (2000), seats reupholstered (1998).

-Original top. Lining has been re-sewed to frame (2013).

-Alpine audio system with amplifier, 2 front door speakers, and 2 box speakers in rear added (2014)

-Runs very well. $1,500 recently expended on repairs / replacement, for purpose of resale (valve job, replace door / window rubber seals, gaskets/seals, more)

-Accessories include: full car cover, bicycle rack, jumper cables, plastic transmission hump console, locking gas cap, 2 new rearview mirrors (still in package), spare oil filter / fuses, plastic gas can.

-Car was kept in storage for many years while I worked overseas. Regularly maintained. No rust.

-Has passed AZ emissions inspection for past 3 years without problems.

-Has the older red AZ plates, but eligible for classic car plates

-Recently deregistered with Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles

-Has not been waxed or shined. Will really glow once done.

-Not accepting OBO
