Beep-Beep is for sale! Purchased by our family in 2012, we have thoroughly enjoyed her across Eastern US and 2 years in Europe where she received some extra attention from a classic VW Shop in Stuttgart, Germany. While in Europe she was brought up to rigorous German standards for historic vehicle registration/licensing. This bus is not ready for the showroom but runs awesome and still turns heads wherever we go.What's been done (recently):- new steering- new exhaust- new brakes/lines- new heater boxes and lines- new fuel pump- new ignition- new tires- new pop top tent- curtains- overhauled axles- new lights- new/modern seatbelts
What it needs:- fuel gauge- wiper motor- radio/antenna (stolen when shipping from Europe)- minor body/paint work...rust starting in usual spots
UPDATE: driver's door latch just decided to break so I will fix that; also, a recent storm had a tree limb fall and dent the trim under the left side rear window. I will replace that part but it won't be painted.
