1988 T3 Dehler Profi SyncroThe vehicle: 1988 European Model Volkswagen T3 Dehler Profi Syncro with 3 Knobs - (Original Front and Rear Differentials and a decoupler added aftermarket) 4 speed transmission The 1Z TDI Engine from a 1996 VW Passat has hydrolocked only needs longblock - All other engine components are rebuilt or new and recently tested and working very nicely. It is at Steve's Imports in Portland, OR. Feel free to call and ask questions. They have gone through everything top to bottom. After the owner, John at Steve's Imports took apart everything we decided on a new 1Z longblock. If you want the longblock with 6 month warranty and steve's imports to install then the new installed engine cost would be added to the winning bid - depending on the winning bid. There is a price for the as is condition that I must hit and then a price for the vehicle with newly installed rebuilt 1Z that I must hit. The bid is for as is and then we can discuss things further. Also, Steve Imports just did brake work and electrical work throughout - a lot of rewiring done - over $3000 in brake and electrical and other work just completed. I purchased this vehicle in 2017 for 18000USD knowing that it needed a complete restoration. Over the passed 5 years I have revived this vehicle.This unicorn is an original 2 knob, 15in, VW Dehler Profi Camper. 1 of 8 ever produced. The old Dehler Profi Interior plastic cabinets were cracking and the setup was not that great for camping, in my opinion so after a full body and paint job, I left the interior bare. I purchased a florida reimo kit - which is not currently installed - the kit was $2500 and I have it and it is ready for install. I will include this new kit with the purchase at no additional cost. A great deal of time and money invested over 5 years to bring this unicorn back to life. This will live on for another 30-40 years without worries. So some things are just not 100% completed but this gives you options.
