Description of 1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

1974 Standard Beetle for sale. Car has been sitting for some time because I've moved on to motorcycles. In fact the motorcycles are taking over the garage. Selling the car at a loss. over 10. 00 dollars invested in it. I'm tired of it being here and I need it gone. Selling car at no reserve. so my loss is your gain. Winning bidder must commit and go thru sale and have at least a 95 percent ebay rating. Okay here is a list of the what the car has. Has adjustable lowered front beam. new drums. shoes. brake cylinders. hoses. lines. master cylinder. Front and rear sway bars. new boots. and cv joints repacked with fresh grease. Freshly painted. although it was painted over 10 years ago. but car has never been out of the carport in the elements. Bumpers removed and holes filled. turn signal shaved and lucas light in front apron. Rear exhaust holes filled. Dechromed and front hood handle shaved. Rear deck lid filled. Front hood grill filled. Interior features Honda Acura seats with custom brackets to fit in nicely. Floor pan replaced. Sew fine carpet kit. door panels and quarter panels. Newly cover rear seat to match front seats. Engine: 1776cc. lightened flywheel. all new tin. louvered fire wall. Webber 40 IDF Carb. racing heads. ventless fan shroud. new alternator. fuel pump. plug wires. distributor. ignition. engle w120 cam. and many more items. Here's the problem though. Engine has less than 10 miles on it and was built by a professional VW restorer in Texas. Engine will crank however. has a knocking noise. I don't know if it's from the engine or the fan. I suspect it's from the engine so the engine will more than likely need to be broken down and inspected. I just don't to mess with this car anymore. I love VWs and I would love nothing more than someone to take this car and finish what I started. Car is not immaculate but in very good shape. I still have some of the paint I used for the car and will make sure to give it to buyer as it has some spots that may need attention. I've included as many pictures. Thank you and God Bless!!!!
