Selling this for my mom. She bought it in 1983 from the original owner. He was to be stationed overseas for several years and chose to sell it back to the dealer rather than store it. It has always been a "second car" for my parents, nd has spent the past thirty years sitting idle in her garage, nd barely driven. It does run, ut through so many years of non-use it is rather balky. It has a rough idle and some hesitation when depressing the accelerator at a stop sign. The past couple of weeks, t has been driven a few times and is running well. It has definitely responded to being driven some.It is a limited edition. From what I have read, nly about 16,000 were manufactured in 1978. It is all original, nside and out. The interior is in very good shape. Leather seats look fantastic. Bertone black vinyl roof is in great condition, ith no tears, racks, r even signs of wear. I have listed the defects in the "Condition description" section, nd have pictured each defect. It has a current smog certificate for the state of California. It is also equipped with a Sanyo mobile stereo 50 watt amplifier, nd 2 rear speakers that say Volvo sound. Vehicle has 2 new rear tires purchased within the past few years, long with 2 new rear brake rotors. Also has a new fuel pump installed within the last 2 years. The odometer is stopped on 55,884. Couldn't have but another 10k or so on the car, n my opinion. This car is very rarely driven.
