Description of 1988 Volvo 240

This car is in very good shape for it's age. It is very clean a reliable, utomatic transmission shifts strong. I have driven it quite a bit, ut it's time to sell, have too many Volvos. Clear title. 177k miles, hich is nothing for these cars.
What I've done to it while I've had it:
-In-tank fuel pump and strainer-Replaced A/C compressor (used) and compressor bushings (IPD polyurethane)-Replaced belts-Replaced some missing trim-Replaced misc interior pieces-Replaced muffler with good used one-Lots of detailing-Replaced steering rack with good used one (9-25-2015). The shake seems to be gone, ut alignment is a little off.
What's wrong with it:
-Alignment still not perfect, ulls slightly right.-A/C still not cold, ut I plan to get it working correctly before sale.-Front windows were converted to electric, nd the driver side is missing the switch-Exhaust pipe has several ugly patches, ll I did was replace the muffler.-Dents in passenger rear door, he dents were painted over when the car was painted, o at least there aren't paint scrapes.-No stereo. Has good speakers (JL), may have a CD player I can put in it if wanted.-No key to trunk lock, t's unlocked, pens with the button
This car will drive anywhere in the country right now, t is an extremely solid and original 240. Price is firm. You won't find a more reliable car than a well-maintained classic Volvo. Excellent car for your kid's first, t's still one of the safest cars on the road.
I'll be fixing the listed problems as I have time. Yes, ou can cheaper 240's. But in this condition, highly doubt it. I believe the price on this one accurately reflects how little work it needs. This car will last forever if taken care of.
