Solid, rust free western car prior to restoration. Was purchased from previous owner who resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

- Car was completely disassembled at time of restoration, with most parts needing attention being rebuilt or replaced with NOS parts.

-Clean and clear Kentucky title in my name, in hand, registered and insured.

-This Volvo has been a true pleasure to own and drive. I have used this car on many long distance trips with no issue and complete confidence. Additionally, this car has won several best of class awards in the few shows I have entered it in. The Webers and Mallory ignition really wake the B18 engine up, and give the car excellent tractability in traffic and on the interstate allowing for effortless cruising at modern Interstate speeds. I have owned this car for 16 years now and it has never let me down and has been by far the easiest vintage car I have owned. I would really like to see it go to a fellow Volvo enthusiast who appreciates the rarity of the Jensen-built cars and who will continue to use the car as it was intended.

-Thanks for looking!

***Please do not bid if you do not have the funds or have no intentions of getting the car. It costs me time and money and I will open an unpaid case and leave negative feedback on your account. I will get some underside pictures later this week when it stops raining and I can take it to a shop with a lift. It had an older thin layer of undercoat when purchased, anothercoat of undercoating (brewer coat)wasapplied in 2001 after restoration.
The noticeable Bubbles are in the rear quarter fender arches. Driver side has a about 6, passenger side has about 3 in the arch, but several where the pass quarter meets the rocker. Rocker has no bubbles.
The car was sprayed with Spies Heckler Base coat clear coat. The black base coat is a Mazda Brilliant Black ( drawing a blank on code# but found on 1993 Miata LE).
Body work was minimal for these cars in my opinion. The pass outrigger/jack point was replaced. Both lower rear quarters had a bout 2in of new metal put in. They made a buck to shape the trunk better, which is why it has such good gaps. The mil gauge reads 7-22 allover very small sections of INF found in the quarters.
Vin -tag reads: Type: P18395. Ch Nr:3687. Colour 69 (white). upholst :301(red)

About the Jensen & Volvo P1800:The first 6000 cars were made under contract by Jensen for Volvo in East Bromwich in the UK, Body panels were by Pressed Steel Limited and Volvo sent drivetrains in from Sweden. Once the model proved successful and the ensure their own in-house quality control standards, Volvo moved production to Sweden, and renamed the car the P1800S around 1964.
