Description of 1985 Volvo 740

2 owner vehicle. Purchased from original 92 year old owner 15,ooo miles ago. Car is from Valencia. Original miles and california blue plate which will remain with the car.The good:Very reliable nice running, steering and driving car. Miles are original. Purchased in 2014 with 69,000 miles on it. Added tires. Car had been previously garaged and still has original paint. Interior in great shape.The not so good:Sun cracked rear seats back last year. One small crack in dash. Plastic cover laid over dash to protect it from further cracking. Cassette worked until 2 weeks ago. Antenna goes up but needs help going back down. Original radio works but speakers in rear are sun damaged. Bulb warning light illuminates when brake applied and when lights are on. Passenger side rear brake light only illuminates in the day.
Windows operate only from driver controls. Power door locks function. Cruise does not. Manual golde brand sunroof functions fine. Air did not work when I bought it. I had all receipts since new but no more I fortunately.Ask questions.Easy car to drive. Our 16 year old learned to drive in it and he still likes it but got another car from his great aunt.
Same motor as 240. Would drive anywhere.
