Description of 1978 Volvo 240 Station Wagon

This is probably one of the best kept-repaired/restored VOLVOs in the Nation. The paint job is by Miracle. Nothing Fancy but it works. The white splotches are reflection and there are some flowers and leaves on it. The yellow circles shows the missing vinyl on the driver door card and the dash cap has one crack shown by another yellow circle. The engine has no more than 132,000 miles on it. It is cast Iron Block and Aluminum Head. The motor is B21F with Bosch Mechanical Fuel Injection. I am the third owner and have owned it for about 27 years. I only drove it on weekends. . The seats are faded but redder than they look in the photos. The only mechanical issue that I am aware of is that the Overdrive does not work. My mechanic said it was a bad wire and would cost about $100 to fix. I don't need OverDrive in the city and did not get it fixed. Everything else works except the AC. The engine could use a washing off but is sound and uses no oil. The transmission and clutch are fine also. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

By the way on eBay out of Denton, TX they sell Compressor and Adapter Plate to convert the car to later 240 AC compressor. It could then remain R-12 or be converted to R-134 with the change of dryer and expansion valves....Last Photo shows their Compressor and Adapter Plate... I do not have these items for sale.
